After 54 years Günther Messner second shoe was found at West face of Nanga Parbat also called Diamer face. Today Mr Liver Khan handover the shoe to his brother Reinhold Messner in South Tirol Italy, which was found at Daimer glacier just 500 meter below, where his first shoe and part of his death body was found back in 2005.

At the end of August we return to the stunning Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges in Northern Pakistan, on a 15/ 18 days road trip through some of the most awe-inspiring scenery on earth.

We start in Islamabad before heading for 2 days to the isolated Kalasha valleys, staying with the locals who call the area home. We then spend time in the impressive valley town of Chitral and head deep into the dramatic vistas of the Hindu Kuskh.

We visit Gilgit, the region’s largest town, before taking on the famous Karakoram Highway. Here you will pass peaks, which tower higher than 7,500m tall – a truly breathtaking corner of the planet. We move on to Hunza, with its ancient forts and mountainous backdrop, taking time to visit the nearby Attabad Lake, Passu Glacier and the Husseini rope bridge.

We finish by passing between the Himalayas, the Karakoram and Hindu Kush and cross the 4,000m high Babasur Pass, stopping at Naran in the Kaghan Valley, before ending in Islamabad.
