Jurgen and his fantastic equipment.
He left for Rwanda from where he wrote six months later.
1981 The success of the Yamaha XT 500 is confirmed; travel stories on its handlebars are published regularly.
Jurgen is one of those riders who saw the potential of this bike to travel far.
It is through them that this motorcycle gains a solid reputation.

Yes, I know! It looks overpacked - seen from your couch.
Yes, I know! It seems easy - from your couch.
Yes, I know! I look as if I am a rich spoiled brat with too much money and time - just watching from your couch.
Well not exactly - I had to give up nearly everything to be able to live like this for the last 8 years because I never really had money. I had to end relationships twice and drained all my bank accounts and gave up jobs and flat! Now I would nearly do anything again to be able to continue. Trust me it feels utterly different to do it than just talk about it online ;-). It changes everything!
I suggest you get off the couch, pack YOUR own Vespa, ride it easy around the world, and then we discuss it over a beer :-). What are you willing to sacrifice?
Because I love chatting with people that did really cool stuff like Vespanda - Ilario Lavarra! I have the utmost respect and have to admit I am a little bit jealous because he was able to ride over 4 years and 150.000 km in 89 countries without going home in between. Congrats on that amazing achievement. I never had the necessary funds to stay away from home this long!
Also sending greets to Worldvespa! One day we talk about our adventures over a fresh and cold beer. Keep Riding and Inspiring!
There are not many people left with this spirit.

The Rest of you - have a great week!

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) in collaboration with Saiyah Travels and Malaysian Ipoh Bikers Club has arranged the tour for the foreign motorcyclists.
