Islamabad is experiencing freezing temperatures as the mercury dips to -1°C, with cold and dry weather expected throughout the week.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued an advisory, predicting very cold conditions, with a chance of frost during morning hours.

The weather will be sunny on Tuesday, but Wednesday and Thursday are forecasted to remain cold and partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from -1°C to 1°C.

Across the country, cold and dry conditions persist, with hilly areas like Leh (-13°C) and Skardu (-5°C) seeing freezing temperatures.

Fog is affecting visibility in southern and upper Punjab and Sindh.
