Road between Lahore and Islamabad, is known for its history, traditions, bravery, and hospitality. People belonging to this area, which is spread between rivers Chanab and Jehlum, are playing their extraordinary role from national politics to economic matters. e of augmenting precious foreign reserves of the country through their remittances. The native areas of these people who have experience of high quality living in Europe present a dismal picture in terms of facilities and standard. Whether it is Kharian, Sarai Alamgir or LalaMausa, the costly areas located on the G.T. Road also has poor standard of living owing to dingy streets, dilapidated roads, stinking sewerage system and ill planned construction etc. On the other hand, there is no way to check the deteriorating law and order situation. There is not even a single high quality housing society in these important cities situated on the main GT Road where the residential facilities, wide roads, security, better educational opportunities, business centres, cleanliness, sewerage and health facilities have been so made available that one may be able to live peaceful, luxurious and high quality life.
