Eid gah Multan
The Shah Eid Gah Mosque (Punjabi and Urdu: شاہی عید گاہ مسجد ) is an early 10th-century temple located in the Pakistani city of Multan, in southern Punjab.

The mosque was built in 1735 CE during the reign of Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah.[1] The mosque was funded by Nawab Abdul Samad Khan, who was the Mughal governor of Multan.[citation needed]

Sikh
Following the fall of Multan to Sikh forces, the mosque was converted into a garrison and was used for gunpowder storage.[2] In 1848, the mosque served as site where Sikh rebels, supported by a group of 2,000 soldiers that surrounded the mosque,[3] murdered two British emissaries.[4][5] The event lead to the Siege of Multan and eventual defeat of the Sikh Empire. In subsequent fighting during the Siege of Multan, a British cannon struck the roof of the mosque, causing 40,000 pounds of gunpowder to explode, destroying a portion of the mosque.[6]

British
The mosque was used as a court during the early British period in Multan.[2] It was restored and returned to its original purpose in 1891 at the insistence of Deputy Commissioner H.C. Cookson.[2]

Modern
After the independence of Pakistan, the courtyard was expanded to accommodate more worshippers.

A Visit to Badshahi Mosque Lahore
The Badshahi Mosque was built between 1671 and 1673 and by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The mosque is an important example of Mughal architecture, with an exterior that is decorated with carved red sandstone with marble inlay. It remains the largest mosque of the Mughal-era, and is the third-largest mosque in Pakistan.[4] In 1799, during the rule of Ranjit Singh of the Sikh Empire, the mosque's courtyard was used as a stable and its hujras (cells) as soldiers quarters. When the British Empire took control of Lahore in 1846 it was used as a garrison until 1852. Subsequently, the Badshahi Mosque Authority was established to oversee its restoration as a place of worship. It is now one of Pakistan's most iconic sights.

THE FAIZ MAHAL
A Visit to Faiz Mahal Khairpur District Sindh
It was built by Mir Sohrab Khan in 1798 as the principal building serving as the sovereign’s court for the royal palace complex of Talpur monarchs of the Khairpur dynasty. Originally it included the ruler’s chambers along with 16 waiting rooms for courtiers and guest rooms for royal guests alongside the durbar and dining halls. Additionally there was the Hathi Khana for the royal elephant and the horses stables where today there is a mango orchards

At present, Faiz Mahal serves as the home of the last Talpur monarch, H. H. Mir Ali Murad Khan Talpur II (born 1933), and his sons, Prince Abbas Raza Talpur and Prince Mehdi Raza Talpur. After the original Constituent Assembly of Pakistan was abolished by the Chaudry Ghulam Mohummed/General Iskander Mirza dictatorships, Khairpur state was merged with Pakistani state in 1955 using threat of military invasion in violation of the agreement Mir Ali Murad had with the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Today, the former sovereign is an environmentalist and has to his credit an extraordinary flora and fauna safe haven called the Mehrano reserve, famous for its black buck, and hog deer, which are now rare in Sindh.
