Authorities have closed Naran and other popular tourist destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following heavy snowfall, which has blocked the roads. The Deputy Commissioner of Mansehra has advised tourists to avoid visiting Naran, Babusar Top, and other upper regions due to safety concerns.

While these areas are inaccessible, tourists are encouraged to visit other scenic spots like Shogran and Balakot, where they can enjoy the chilly weather safely. The snowstorm, which affected Batakundi, Naran, and Babusar Top, has made roads slippery and dangerous for travel.

Police are directing vehicles back from the checkpoints, urging visitors to choose alternative locations. Tourists are also advised to contact the Tourism Department's helpline service (1422) for up-to-date information on travel conditions. In addition, the Khunjerab border between Pakistan and China has been closed for four months and will reopen on April 1, 2025.
