📍 Attabad Lake, Gojal Hunza

Attabad Lake has beautiful turquoise blue water. It is a14 km long and a narrow lake that basically follows the alignment of Hunza River.
It takes 2 to 2.5 hours to reach Attabad Lake from Gilgit. The road is excellent. There is no restaurant available on the lake site though there is one kiosk that provides drinks and snacks.
Karakoram Highway now moves along the lake. There are 3 tunnels one of which is a very long tunnel (4.5 km).
A must visit site when visiting Hunza Valley.
