In Pakistan alone 109 women die every 24 hours due to breast cancer. The disease causes more than 40,000 deaths a year with an addition of 90,000 new breast cancer cases every year.
It is preventable, if we create awareness and encourage the women around us to spare 5 minutes for themselves.

International Literacy Day

Today is a reminder that change is constant, and the way to change entire communities is by promoting literacy. UOL Relief has been doing that in remote valleys since 2010.

On the way to Fairy Meadows, a popular tourist destination, lies the small village of Tattu where UOL Relief has adopted an entire school. Recently a mudslide halted its running. Your help can make a huge difference in the rebuilding of the school. The children await.

Heroes Without Capes

An award winning, living legend of the mountaineering community, Rozee Ali is truly a hero. Not only has he scaled some of the world's highest peaks like Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and Broad Peak, but he has risked his life to conduct high altitude rescue missions.

He loves mountains in the truest sense, and has been part of 3 cleaning campaigns on K2. Rozee Ali takes pride like no other in clearing the majestic mountain of equipment and litter left behind by expeditions.

The wrinkles on his face reveal the hardships of his life, but his eyes sparkle when he is in the company of mountains, because that is where he feels most at home.
