As we resume our drive, Gitidas' summer settlement embraces us briefly before we approach the grandeur of Babusar Pass, marking our entry into Gilgit Baltistan at an elevation of 4173 meters. Here, time halts, granting us moments to absorb the breathtaking panorama. Our route to Gilgit weaves through captivating landscapes, and en route, we pause at the Nanga Parbat View Point to behold its splendor. In Karimabad, we will visit the Baltit Fort Museum and the Altit Fort, where we can learn about the rich history and heritage of the region. Day 19: In the early morning, we will embark on a scenic drive along the picturesque River Kunhar. As we pass through the charming village of Kaghan, we will continue our journey towards Kawai and then to the beautiful high plateau of Shogran. From Shogran, we will make an excursion to Paya, a vast plateau located at the base of Makra Peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views. After soaking in the stunning scenery, we will return to Islamabad. Upon reaching Islamabad, we will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey. This day will be filled with scenic beauty, exploration, and fond memories of the journey through Kaghan Valley and the captivating views from Paya.
