Commemoration of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito's 64th Birthday,
On the occasion of the 64th Birthday celebrations of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan on February 23, 2024, Hayatullah Khan Durrani (Pride-of-Performance), Secretary of the Pakistan Canoe and Kayak Federation and Founder/Chief Executive of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan, as well as Hayat Durrani Water Sports Academy International (Pvt, Ltd) (HDWSA), spearheaded a meaningful tree planting initiative. Mr. Durrani, distinguished as the first Pakistani recipient of the British Caving Legend Award in the United Kingdom, symbolically planted a white mulberry tree to extend wishes for His Majesty Emperor Naruhito's long and healthy life. Additionally, various other tree species were planted at the specially designated area, symbolizing the enduring bond of friendship between new generation of Pakistan and Japan, through sports, culture, and environmental defenders within the HDWSA premises." adjacent to the designated corner for Pak-Britain friendship sports, culture, and environmental protection events.
This act underscores Mr. Hayatullah Khan Durrani's unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and his dedication to contributing to the Protect Environment Tree Plantation Project. The initiative, established by Mr. Durrani in 1986 at the renowned Hayat Durrani Water Sports Academy International (Pvt, Ltd) and its sprawling ranch at Hanna Lake, Quetta, is designed to promote environmental protection, sustainability, and ecosystem restoration.
The birthday of Emperor Naruhito, celebrated on 23rd February, holds profound significance as His Majesty was born on this day in 1960.
