Raja Inangpal Bhatta Rajput
Before the Muslim invasion, Sindh was ruled by Raja Dahir who was a Brahmin.
In 712 AD, when Muhammad bin Qasim defeated Raja Dahir and captured Sindh, a Rajput prince
* Bhatta Raj Chalukya *
captured a fort of Raja Dahar and
Named * Bhatta Vahan *.
Bhatta Vahan was settled on the banks of River Hakra, it was a lush and green area.
Bhatta Vahan is still located on the main road 16 kilometers away from District Rahim Yar Khan in Bahawalpur Division.
There are different histories of the Rajput clans according to which "Bhatta Maharaj" was a descendant of the famous ruler of Mahabharat, Raja Karan Dasatir.
Bhatta Raja occupied a large area and made * Ach * the capital of the Bhatta State.
Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur etc. were included in Bhatta State. Bhatta State was a powerful state of its time.
Bhatta Raja established an orderly government.
During the invasions of Mahmud Ghaznavi, the state of Ach remained completely safe.
When Muhammad Ghori attacked Punjab, Delhi and Ajmer, after some time he also attacked Ach but could not win because of the boldness and courage of Bhatta Rajputs. After the death of Sultan, his servant Sultan Qutbuddin Aibak attacked _
Once he besieged the city, but when he saw that it was being defeated, he lifted the siege, but the second time, determined to conquer the city, he attacked it vigorously with great preparation and besieged it with long sieges and repeated defeats. Then won.
There is a description of it in two ancient books of history, Tabaqat Nasri and Tarikh Feroz Shahi.
The book Tabaqat Nasri was written during the reign of Sultan Nasiruddin Mahmud and Tarikh Feroz Shahi Sultan, Feroz Shah Tughluq.
It is said that when the siege became very intense, there was a shortage of grain and water in the city.
So the last ruler of Ach, Raja Anangpal Bhatta, ordered that food and water should be provided only to humans.
Camels, oxen, cows, horses and buffaloes died of hunger.
Raja Inangpal Bhatta collected his bones and beat them and piled them.
He invited one of the sultan's trusted men to the fort, showed him the piles of mud from a distance and tried to convince him that there was plenty of rice and water in the fort, and if the sultan continued the siege for a long time, his affairs would be ruined. There will be a disruption in the universe.
Therefore, it is better to make peace on suitable terms.
It was possible that the Sultan would have made peace and lifted the siege when a legate informed the Sultan of the real situation through a song, on which Sultan Qutbuddin Aibak refused to sign an agreement and attacked the city with full force.
The Bhatta Rajputs fought bravely but were defeated and the Sultan conquered the city along with all the queens.
Due to the treachery of the legatees, Bhatta Aj also does not allow the legatees to come to their homes.
The song is like this
Ach na Datta Buhetan ne, Na Dati Si Nar
Dana Pani Chug Gaya was chewed
During the siege, the Sultan spared the lives of the common people except the royal family and allowed them to leave the city.
Therefore, the citizens gradually left the city. Among the six brothers of Raja Inangpal Bhatta, some of the brothers went to different areas with their children and loyalists.
A brother of Raja Inangpal went to Sindh with his family and loyalists, so he was called Bhutto Rajput according to the Sindhi pronunciation.
Ach was the richest state of its time. The wealth of the Bhatta kings is mentioned in the local legends.
Here is a song:
Bhete Raje, Sat Ghode Taje (Fresh)
Silver lanterns and gold doors (doors).
Jathon Lagan Bhte Raje, Athon Legacy era Bhaje (Bhage)
Raja Inangpal's second brother Rai Vijay Singh Bhatta moved from Ach to Jodhpur state and became attached to the Rathor Rajput Raja's court and became one of his special persons.
Later he migrated from there and all members of his family left their native religion and accepted Islam.
Raja Inangpal's third brother converted to Islam and his Islamic name was given as Rai Sadiq Muhammad Bhatta.
Raja Inangpal's fourth brother converted to Islam and his Islamic name was given as Rai Ziauddin Bhutta.
All the five brothers of Raja Inangpal accepted Islam and their Islamic name was given as Rai Muhammad Har Bhatta.
Rai Jai Singh Bhutta, the sixth brother of Raja Inangpal Bhutta, remained attached to his native religion and moved to Gujarat via Sindh.
Bhatta Rajputs are mostly spread in Punjab and Sindh.

. After the victory of Ach, the people of Bhatta Rajput people settled in different areas of the sub-continent.

Rai Muhammad Sadiq Bhutta accepted Islam at the hands of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya.
When Mohammad Sadiq Bhutta left his mentor, the mentor and mentor made a special prayer for three items for the children of Mohammad Sadiq and gave them good news that in the coming time your children will progress in the following professions:

On one occasion, the Shah of Iran sent a letter to the governor written in reverse, which no one understood.
On this occasion, Rai Muhammad Sadiq Bhutta read out that letter, because Muhammad Sadiq Bhutta himself was an expert in writing in reverse Urdu.
For this achievement, the governor granted a jagir consisting of thirty villages to Rai Muhammad Sadiq Bhatta.
His family owned this estate until the fall of the Mughal Empire, later it was taken over by the Sikhs.
Here too, Bhatta Rajput Sultans used to fight and quarrel from time to time.
The population of Kotli Bhatta consisted of Rajput Bhatta people.
