First ascent on this day, 1979.07.03; Uli Biaho Tower (6109 m) by an American party.

Uli Biaho is a mountain near Trango Towers and Baltoro Glacier in the Gilgit–Baltistan area of Pakistan. It consists of two main peaks, Uli Biaho Tower (listed by Roskelley as 19,957 feet, and by Kopold as 6,109 metres or 20,043 feet); and Uli Biaho Peak (Kopold: 6417 m), which as of 2006 was unclimbed.

First ascent on this day, 1977.07.01; "The Ogre" (Baintha Brakk) West-Peak (7225 m) by a British party.

Baintha Brakk is a steep, craggy mountain, 7,285 metres (23,901 ft) high, in the Panmah Muztagh, a subrange of the Karakoram mountain range. It is located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is famous for being one of the hardest peaks in the world to climb: twenty-four years elapsed between the first ascent in 1977 and the second in 2001.

Baintha Brakk is exceptional in its combination of altitude, height above local terrain, and steepness. It is a complex granite tower, steeper and rockier than most other Karakoram peaks. For example, its South Face rises over 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) above the Uzun Brakk Glacier in only 2 km (1.24 mi) of horizontal distance.

The Biafo Glacier is located within the Karakoram mountain range in the Shigar district of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It spans a considerable distance, measuring 67 kilometers (42 miles) in length, and is one of the largest glaciers in the entire Karakoram range. Flowing southeast from the central peaks of Karakoram, this glacier covers an area of 853 square kilometers, with 628 square kilometers constituting a permanent expanse of snow and ice.

The magic Snow lake Hisper la trekking span through this rugged glacier.

Gasherbrum II the world's 13th highest peak and one of the fourteen 8,000m peaks, is situated at the head of Pakistan's Baltoro Glacier amongst giants such as K2, Gasherbrum 1 and Broad Peak.
