On behalf of Islampur Cottage Industries Association and Elum Traditional Arts & Crafts, I extend my sincerest gratitude to all individuals and organizations involved in the successful purchase of land for establishment of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Chitor/Islampur.
I would like to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to Mr. Zia Ud Din Yousfazai for his invaluable guidance and support throughout this project. Your unwavering commitment to girls' education has been a source of inspiration for our team.
I also extend my heartfelt thanks to Malala Yousafzai for taking keen interest in this project and championing the cause of girls' education globally. Your courage and resilience have empowered countless girls around the world.
I sincerely appreciate the Malala Fund's generous funding and expert guidance throughout this project. Their unwavering commitment to girls' education and advocacy for quality learning opportunities has been instrumental in empowering marginalized communities. The Malala Fund's support has enabled us to bridge the educational gap in union council Islampur, transforming the lives of countless girls.
My thanks are also due to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their support through the Annual Development Programme 2021-22. We appreciate the efforts of District Education Officer (Female) Swat for identifying Chitor/Islampur as a priority area. Deputy District Education Officer (M) Swat took keen interest in the project and provided valuable guidance and support.
We specially thank Mr. Muhammad Khaliq, Special Secretary to Ex-Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for facilitating our team to achieve our objective.
We are also grateful to the members of the local committee, who selflessly dedicated their time and expertise to ensure the project's success.
We express our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Umara Khan, the landowner, for his cooperation and willingness to sell his land for the noble cause of education. His contribution has paved the way for a brighter future for the girls of Chitor/Islampur.
I particularly appreciate the tireless efforts of the ICIA team, who worked diligently to identify suitable land, navigate bureaucratic hurdles, and ensure the transfer of ownership to the Education Department. Their dedication to empowering girls from disadvantaged backgrounds is truly commendable.
This initiative would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our partners and stakeholders. We look forward to continued collaboration, ensuring that every girl in Swat has access to quality education and a brighter future.
