Looking for a hidden gem on your next trip to Poland? Let us introduce you to Zamość – a city that’s a perfect blend of history, culture, and architectural beauty.

Zamość is often referred to as the “Pearl of the Renaissance” due to its meticulously designed Old Town. The city was built in the late 16th century by the Italian architect Bernardo Morando and is one of the best-preserved Renaissance towns in Europe. Walking through its streets feels like stepping back in time!

At the heart of Zamość is the stunning Great Market Square, surrounded by colorful, arcaded townhouses and the iconic Town Hall with its grand staircase. The square is a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a coffee, and take in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

Discover the impressive Zamość Fortress, a testament to the city’s strategic importance in the past. The fortress walls and bastions are open for exploration, offering a glimpse into the city’s military history and providing panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Visit the beautiful Zamość Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This stunning example of Renaissance architecture is home to richly decorated interiors and a tranquil atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to climb the cathedral tower for a breathtaking view of the city.

Zamość is well-connected by train, making it an easy and comfortable destination for travelers exploring Poland. Whether you're coming from Warsaw, Kraków, or Lublin, a train journey to Zamość is the perfect way to start your adventure.

If you dream of an unforgettable vacation full of beautiful views, mountain hiking and highland culture, Zakopane is the perfect place for you!

Zakopane, located at the foot of the majestic Tatra Mountains, is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, offering year-round adventure. The mountains are all about hiking, with options for varying levels of skill. There will be trails for both beginners and for those looking for a challenge.

It's also where you'll have the opportunity to experience Polish highland culture and taste its cuisine - such as oscypek, a traditional smoked cheese made from sheep's milk, often served with cranberries, and kwaśnica, a soup based on sauerkraut and pork. In this region of Poland don't miss the mutton, either!

You can, of course, reach Zakopane by train from many cities in Poland, including Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan and even Gdansk.

Rail travel in Central Europe can be extremely enriching, due to the cultural and historical highlights and the variety of landscapes.

Europe is very well connected and thus worth seeing in its entirety! But there's no denying that it's difficult to see it all in one trip. So where should you start?

We would like to suggest an inspiring route for you - the cities of Central Europe: Budapest 🇭🇺 - Vienna 🇦🇹 - Bratislava 🇸🇰 - Krakow 🇵🇱!

You would start in Budapest, Hungary, where you can enjoy picturesque views of the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament, one of the most beautiful parliament buildings in the world, sample delicious food and wine, and visit historic baths.

Moving on to Vienna, the Austrian capital, you can visit historic palaces such as the Belvedere and Schönbrunn, and savor musical culture at the highest level.

Continuing your journey, you'll arrive in Bratislava, Slovakia, where you can explore the charming Old Town, Bratislava Castle, and try the regional dish 'Bryndzové halušky' (potato dumplings topped with special sheep cheese).

Finally, your tour will continue to Krakow (traveling by day or overnight), where the fabulous Main Square with St. Mary's Church, Wawel Castle, and the picturesque Kazimierz district await you.

If you are in Poland today, you may have noticed that many locals are buying these pastries.

Today is Fat Thursday in Poland and it's a day to eat this type of doughnut, available in different flavors. 'Pączki' are a traditional part of Polish cuisine. It is a yeast dough that has a filling of rose, raspberry, cherry, strawberry marmalade or plum jam inside. You'll also find versions with advocat, pudding, chocolate, pistachio cream and more!

Of course, 'pączki' are available in our country all year round! Therefore, don't forget - when you are in Poland, you must try them. You can find the best ones in bakeries and pastry shops!

Is it worth visiting Poland in autumn? The answer is: absolutely yes! The autumn landscapes of our beautiful country are extraordinary, and the atmosphere of its cities takes on a unique charm. If you are wondering where to go, we have a few suggestions for you!

Kraków - the capital of Małopolska impresses not only with its colorful leaves, but also with its magical aura. See Wawel Castle, the Old Town and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Krakow's cafes.

Gdańsk - a city on the Baltic Sea also delights in autumn. Walking through the Old Town, you will feel the unique atmosphere of this historic place. How about a bit of fresh sea air?

Wrocław - known for its bridges and colorful townhouses, Wrocław is beautiful at any time of the year. In autumn, however, it takes on a unique character.

And what can you eat during your autumn wanderings in Poland? Regional cuisine dishes, of course! From warming mushroom soup, to dumplings with a variety of fillings, to traditional potato pancakes. These are just some of the suggestions that will make exploring Poland an unforgettable culinary adventure.
