🎄✨ Christmas in Poland is a magical time filled with unique traditions that warm the heart! One of the most special moments is Wigilia, the Christmas Eve dinner, which begins when the first star appears in the sky.

The meal features twelve meatless dishes, each representing the apostles, with delicious options like borscht with uszka and pierogi. Before we eat, we share opłatek, a special wafer, exchanging heartfelt wishes for the coming year.

An empty place setting is left at the table for an unexpected guest, embodying the spirit of hospitality. After dinner, we often sing traditional carols, spreading joy and cheer throughout the neighborhood.

On Christmas Day, many attend Pasterka, the midnight Mass. The festive spirit continues until January 6, celebrating the Feast of the Epiphany.

We had the incredible honor of hosting a large business group on September 20-21, 2024!
- 3 months of arrangements with the organizer
- dozens of hours of office work
- nearly 300 participants from all over the world
- 6 luxurious coaches
- 9 tour leaders and guides
- dinner in the Wierzynek restaurant for 300 people
- lunch in the Wieliczka Salt Mine for 120 people
- 30 melex cars
- 18 wicker baskets
- 420 bottles of water
- 420 bagels (traditional obwarzanek)
- 420 engraved apple featuring company's logo

In addition, a lot of commitment and hard work of the entire Mertz Travel Poland team.

On September 20th, we provided high-class transfers with luxurious coaches and organized an engaging tour of the Rakowicki and the Podgórki Tynieckie Cemeteries, complete with private city guides. To top it off, the group enjoyed a delightful lunch at the renowned Wierzynek Restaurant and had a chance to take part in melex tour. The following day, September 21st, we arranged a private visit to the stunning Wieliczka Salt Mine and the poignant Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.

This experience has reinforced our belief that we are ready to serve even larger groups in the future.
