Behind our car you can see Tempel Synagogue, the youngest synagogue in Kazimierz District. During World War Two this place was turned into stable for horses of German soldiers and renovated many years later thanks to World Monuments Fund from New York.

Everybody here knows this place - Royal Palace on Wawel Hill, Wawel Castle. Residence of Polish kings. First buildings became here in XI century. During Second World War Hans Frank made here his residence as the governor of N**i General Government in occupied Poland.
In general, you can visit the castle for free, in some places you should buy a ticket. November is a special month when admission is free, initiated by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. We parked next to Corpus Christi Basilica founded by King Kazimierz The Great. According to the legend, church was built in place where thieves lost monstrance stolen from one of churches in Old Town. It is said that it was a sign from God to build this church exactly here.

Saint Joseph's Church in Podgórze district built between 1905 and 1909, at once the biggest church in this area. Wonderful organs appeared in 1922 thanks to congregation, their faith and money. ⛪️
