Have you ever heard about the legend of the Wawel Dragon? 🐉🏰
👑During the reign of King Krakus, this dragon came out of its den under Wawel Castle and ate so many sheep 🐑 and terrorised inhabitants that the King offered his daughter Wanda’s hand to whoever killed the beast. After the failure of many warriors, Skuba, a mere shoemaker 👞, decided to take a sheep and fill it with sulphur. So much so that when the dragon ate it, it was left too thirsty because of it. He drank water from the Vistula river 🌊 but couldn’t quench its thirst. Finally, he drowned from all the water he swallowed and poor Skuba married Princess Wanda.

📣 The 22nd Pierogi Festival on the Little Market Square starts today in Krakow! 🥟✨

If you're in Krakow, you can't miss it! From today, 14 August, until Sunday, 18 August, Mały Rynek will turn into a pierogi kingdom, where you will taste delicious pierogi in a wide variety of flavours - from the traditional to the most unique. 😋

The stalls will be open every day from 10 a.m. to midnight, so you have the whole day to immerse yourself in the flavours of Krakow and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this culinary festival. 🏙️✨
