Meet Janine - our new team member who recently joined us this June. As head of our Viennese office, Janine is working closely with our project leaders on all ongoing projects. She’s experienced in residential constructions and rooftop extensions in existing contexts and has worked in architecture for about 10 years.

Beside architecture Janine is doing all kind of mountain sports like climbing, canyoning, kayaking and loves to travel the world.

Spring is coming, welcome Ewa in our team!

Ewa joined our team at the beginning of the year. She makes sure that everything is in order and if anyone wants to organise any meeting or trip, she is the right person to contact with.

"I am happy to join such a well-coordinated team. It is great to work in a multicultural environment. I have been interested in architecture for a long time and now I have the opportunity to take a closer look at how projects are created from the first sketch to the final product."

Ewa is particularly interested in interior visualizations and she does an excellent job! In her spare time she reads books, rides bicycle and takes care of her garden.

This weekend was very intense. We admired the architecture of the beautiful city of Gdansk, where the old meets the new. 🏙️
Today we are still resting, but tomorrow we will return to work with heads full of fresh ideas and solutions 💪

Meet Sandra - our next team member who has been with us since November. Last year Sandra finished her master's degree at the Wrocław University of Technology and moved to Kraków, where she further develops her professional career.

“For me, the most importatnt thing in design is creating spaces, which meet people’s needs and experiences. That’s why the phase of analysis of users spaces is such relevant for me. This crucial moment decides about how users feel in designed buildings.

When I came to a job interview in Forma I felt a really nice atmosphere in the office and instantly wanted to be a part of this team. Working in Forma is a chance for me to get to know Austrian architecture - its guidelines and building law. Furthemore I have a possibility to improve my knowledge about the BIM environment. Huge advantage also is interacting with German, so learning this language is easier and faster.”

In her free time, Sandra enjoys caring for plants. She also spends a large amount of time training and playing with her dachshund.

Meet our new colleague Sylwia, who joined our team in August. Sylwia recently finished Master Degree in Architecture with big project located in Italia and then started new chapter with us.

Sylwia enjoys solving difficult topics and likes challenges, but for that, she needs free space. That's why she enjoys minimalism and we can tell that her desk is often empty, except for cup of coffee.

Meet our fellow team member Joanna. She has been part of our team since January.
After studying in Germany and working for several German architectural firms, Joanna was looking for opportunities to continue her growth and to our delight, she joined us 😊

“I chose FORMA because it is a young team of exceptionally creative people co-creating ambitious projects of an international character. The opportunity to continue working in German and using BIM technologies in design is the best working environment for me.”

On daily basis, Joanna undertakes reading building law and local plans looking for answers to even the most difficult questions. In her free time, Joanna enjoys many creative activities. Recently, she has been fascinated by sewing and dreams of creating beautiful clothes. Besides, she gets a lot of satisfaction from cooking and baking, and tasting the cuisines of the countries Joanna visits during her frequent travels.

On her desk, you will always find a cup of delicious coffee and if you approach her you’ll always be greeted with a bright smile and if you ask her she’ll always reply that any task can be enjoyable and easy.

Meet Gabriela! Since march, she has been working with us and spreading her positive energy and smile!

„FORMA allows me to work on interesting, international projects in a friendly and supportive team. I can familiarise myself with trends in Austrian architecture and compare them with polish solutions. The German language in my daily work is a huge plus, as my dream is to speak it fluently one day”.

In architecture, the most exciting thing for Gabriela is the constant expansion of knowledge. She as an architect is supposed to be a specialist in every discipline Each new project is an opportunity to learn about new technologies, solutions, or methods of construction. For her, the most significant part of architecture is the construction phase, during which she creates details, technical solutions, and building specifications. One of Gabriela’s many interests is the BIM process. With this, she can create solutions that are not only reusable by other disciplines, but also of much higher quality.

„I’ve heard that smiling positively affects us and the people around us, so I do it all the time (not only in the office). Especially during Lindy Hop dancing, which I have been practicing for over 2 years. Dancing improves my mood and contributes to my overall sense of happiness. With a little music, I release my emotions and, most importantly, I have a lot of energy to do things!”

Meet Katarzyna who joined our team some time ago. Katarzyna connects working with studying and she has a fresh view of architecture.

Katarzyna is interested in architecture deeply embedded in context. She is passionate about the minimalist trend and often guided by the idea of minimalism not only in her work but also in life and in her own interior.

„I chose FORMA, because of the international environment and work in BIM technology. The office has a dynamic and young team, so the working atmosphere is very friendly and helpful. Moreover, a great advantage is also the opportunity to work in a foreign market and a foreign language. In her free time Katarzyna walks in the mountains. The best time, as she says, is sunny autumn. There are far fewer tourists than during the vacations, and the mountain peaks begin to take on colors, which sparks her awe and fascination 🌄 Additionally, Kasia is a hobbyist in analog photography 📸

Meet our new colleague - Krystian. He joined FORMA in March. Professionally, he is interested in reducing the carbon footprint of newly built structures and finding ways in which the built environment can contribute to mitigating climate change.

“I chose FORMA, because of its friendly, international environment. The open atmosphere present in the office boosts my creativity, while helpful colleagues provide support and useful inputs. Moreover, projects based in a foreign context challenge me to learn new design customs and improve my language skills. Thereby, formA is a workplace, where I have an opportunity to gain many new skills, while maintaining and further deepening those I already have”.

Krystian enjoys painting with oil paint. His favorite subject to paint is human figure, especially portraits. When he doesn’t create art, he watches it and learns from observation, therefore Krystian is a regular visitor to museums and art galleries.

Additionally, another passion of our new colleague is coffee. Krystian has a big knowledge of the brewing practices of this beverage and happily shares it with us. We can assure you, nobody makes such beautiful and aromatic cappuccinos as he does! ☕️ 🥳
