Enrollment for the 3rd edition of ENHANCE “Blue-Green-IN Climate Change Summer School 2024” at PW - DEADLINE 20.06.2024

July 1, 2024 will mark the start of the 3rd edition of the ENHANCE international summer school 'Blue-Green-IN Climate Change Summer School 2024', which is organized by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Valencia University of Technology and Aachen University of Technology.

Basic information:

- Duration: online classes and workshops 🗓️od July 1 to 11, 2024, classroom part in Warsaw 🗓️od July 15 to 19, 2024, and online design consultations 🗓️od July 22 to 26, 2024.
- The summer school is open to students who have completed at least the second year of their undergraduate studies and master's or doctoral students.
- Each applicant should fill out a registration form.
- Participation in the Summer School is free of charge.
- ECTS credits: 4

THE DAY OF TÜRKIYE AT WUT

On 21 May 2024, the Day of Türkiye took place at Warsaw University of Technology. The event was organised by the Centre for International Cooperation of WUT and co-organised by the Embassy of Türkiye in Warsaw and WUT’s students from Türkiye Naz Kabaroğlu, Altunem Keremem and Özgur Avci. Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Professor Robert Zalewski, the Vice-Rector for Students Affairs, and the Embassy of Türkiye – by the Ambassador Mr Rauf Alp Denktaş.
We deeply appreciate Embassy and students’ support when organising the event. Thank you for joining us, and see you at future meetings.

ENHANCE BIP at RWTH Aachen - Deadline 16.06.2024❗❗❗

We are happy to announce that RWTH Aachen University is offering its second ENHANCE Blended Intensive Programme on “Physics Informed Neural Networks Applications to Geotechnical Engineering”!

The course is organized by the Institute of Geomechanics and Underground Technology and is composed of an online and onsite part:

First, students will participate in an online introductory course from 🗓️ July 22 – 26. During those days, the principles behind machine learning are discussed and students will learn about the tools they will work with, which is mainly Python code written in Jupyter Notebooks. During the week on campus, from 🗓️ July 29 - August 2, students will apply their newly acquired theoretical knowledge in a hackathon-style workshop. Besides the coursework, social events such as Pub Crawls and local city tours will be held.

The application is open to Master's students in engineering, geophysics, computer science, and applied mathematics. Students can earn a total of 3️⃣ ECTS for the course and receive an Erasmus+ grant from their home university.
