...aaaaaand we're back again! 🚲 🤩 ❤️ It's been a difficult year with no spring season, with just a handful of visitors from abroad visiting Warsaw and a crawling lockdown 🚫 Not the greatest time for bike tours, was it?

Luckily, we didn't give up and we've been back with our bike tours again since July. 🥰 Thank you for coming! And see you on the tours soon! 🗺

Wczoraj policja w Warszawie aresztowała na 2 miesiące działaczkę LGBT za uszkodzenie samochodu należącego do fundacji pro-life i szarpanie jednego z działaczy. W czasie protestów towarzyszących zatrzymaniu policja zatrzymała niemal 50 osób, często stosując nieproporcjonalnie brutalne środki.

W ciągu ostatnich miesięcy wiele gmin, powiatów i miast w Polsce ogłosiło się “strefami wolnymi od LGBT”. Prezydent polski, politycy partii rządzącej, publiczna telewizja wielokrotnie odnosili się do środowisk LGBT stwierdzając, że “to nie ludzie, to ideologia”.

Jesteśmy firmą zajmującą się turystyką, nie polityką. Nie możemy jednak pozostać obojętni, kiedy polityka odmawia praw naszym przyjaciołom, bliskim i pracownikom. Od lat w naszej firmie pracowali i pracują geje, lesbijki, heteroseksualiści, osoby białe i kolorowe, transpłciowe, Polacy i obcokrajowcy. Od lat te osoby są wśród naszych gości. Chcemy Wam jasno powiedzieć: wszyscy, bez względu na pochodzenie, płeć, kolor skóry czy identyfikację płciową będą u nas zawsze mogli czuć się bezpiecznie. Wszyscy zasługujemy na ten sam szacunek. Wszyscy jesteśmy ludźmi.

Yesterday in Warsaw an LGBT activist was arrested for 2 months by the police, following charges of causing damage to a car belonging to a pro-life organisation and scuffling with one of its members. During the protest following the order of arrest, the police detained nearly 50 people, often applying brutal and disproportionate measures.

Over the past months, many local communities in Poland declared themselves “LGBT free zones”. The president of Poland, members of the ruling party, the public broadcaster referred to LGBT community as “ideology, not people”.

We’re a tour company, we don’t do politics. However, we can’t remain indifferent when politics violates the rights of our friends, families and employees. We’ve worked with gay, le***an, straight, white, coloured and transgender people, Poles and foreigners for years. The same people have been guests on our tours for many seasons. We want to say it loud and clear: everybody, regardless of their s*x, skin colour, background or gender identity can always feel safe with us. We all deserve the same respect. We’re all human.
