Each living space has its own private terrace or deck. There are lights that light up the jungle for a magical ambiance, whimsical pathways & surprise deck's & garden spaces. Maya Cala's shoreline we have a dock with a lake palapa, a cool floating raft with loungers. Beautiful swimming in our hidden cove. We are stocked with lake toys, 2 SUP boards, 4 kayaks, bogie boards for hours of entertainment, Hammocks are hung for guests to relax and enjoy. Laguna Bacalar is the second largest fresh-water lake in all of Mexico. Over 50 kilometres long one side is forested by palms and various hardwoods while the other side is a beautiful wild mangrove marsh. It is fed by fresh water springs from the cenotes and is so clear and clean that it is a fabulous turquoise color in the shallower areas with different shades of blue arising where the depth is greater.
