With some outdoor tables and indoor dining, and counter, guests have choices for dine in or carry out. It’s easy to call ahead, too. Just be sure to have cash or a cash app accessible. 📞 ⁣

This week we’re going to for open air and waterfront dining and live music. ⁣🛥⁣

El Yate is a true visual and gastronomic treat. Lots of murals (swipe 👉 to see who can’t resist a good set of wings by .1), neon lights, and beautiful things. Although Fajardo is not San Juan and does not have the nightlife of a bigger city, you’ll find a night scene here with live music🎤, a lounge and full bar with beach cottage chic low couches🍸, and romantic views from being ON the water💫💖. ⁣

Situated near the Puerto Chico marina entrance, El Yate is also within view of the apartment. But you’ll need a car to get there. ⁣
⁣
Although there is no children’s menu (at the time of this writing), the staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting menu items that can be modified to a child’s palette. 👧🏽🧒🏻⁣

New to Fajardo in 2022, el Cayo has made a splash (pun intended) with the food, ambiance, and colorful yet modern decor. The open deck along the water give diners amazing views. 👀 ⁣

El Cayo also has a pristine heart-shaped swimming pool and activities room. Catch a glimpse when you look down from the apartment balcony. Sneak a peek in the background of the fourth photo. 🧡 ⁣

With a large variety of menu options, and full bar, this is a feast for all the senses. There is just no way to describe the breeze. 🌀⁣

While it looks like El Cayo is walking distance, we still recommend renting a car. There’s plenty of parking, even when the restaurant fills beginning at lunch time. 🚗 ⁣

For so long, so many people have have asked me so many times various forms of: “why Puerto Rico❓” If you, like them, want to know, read on 👇🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ To be honest, I’ve never had a super articulate answer.
