🧐 So life is usually filled with those “what if” questions that hold us back from chasing our goals and living the best version of us. But know that this is one of our brains’ survival tactics. By asking, “What if?”, we get a chance to brainstorm all the available outcomes and choose the one that will have the best results. Too often, the what if questions we end up asking ourselves – especially in today’s more stressful world – are about potentially terrible outcomes that not only are unlikely to happen, but that we have no control over if they do.
Resulting in constantly living on a state of fear with anxiety and stress in overdrive. This is so exhausting! And, can hold us back from feeling our best, trying new experiences, or going after things we want.
So, unless we TRY, we will not know the answer to our “what if’s”.

Can you spot what this family is looking at with so much focus?
They love to dazzle people with their swimming abilities, so it’s no surprise they follow boats. When a they swim in the wake of a boat, their bodies are carried along on the waves making them move even faster than usual. They burn less energy while achieving a higher speed. In a way, when they follow boats, they are getting a free ride!
Yeap! You guessed it... Dolphins!
Did you also know that dolphins have a competitive side? They do! This brings up another reason why they follow boats. Sometimes dolphins of different species are members of the same pod or group. If they are following a boat, these different species may try to show off their jumping or diving skills to one another. Call it a friendly competition. If the people on board a boat are clapping, calling out to them, and giving them lots of attention, the dolphins are likely to put on their best jumping, flipping routine.
Dolphins are friendly animals that love attention. And, that is why we love them!

How many of you know Captain Gio?
Gio is a USCG Captain that was practically born at sea; by the age of 5 he was already water skiing, fishing, and steering his father’s dinghy on his own. Now, with over 20 years of boating and sailing experience, Giovanni has been navigating around Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and various islands in the Caribbean in addition to crossing the Panama Canal, earning vast nautical knowledge, and growing his love for the ocean.
You will meet few people with his passion for the ocean and enthusiasm for life. Aside from being obsessed with sailing and surfing, Gio is a man of multiple talents; he plays various instruments, is a philanthropist for children with special needs and has over a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.
He is our favorite captain and he is happy to welcome you aboard for your next sailing adventure!

Captain Giovanni Ricci was practically born at sea, by the age of 5 he was already water skiing, fishing and steering his father’s dinghy on his own. He has been navigating around Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands waters ever since, earning a vast nautical knowledge and falling in love with sailing. You will meet few people with his passion for the ocean and enthusiasm for life. Aside from being obsessed with sailing and surfing, Gio is a man of multiple talents; he plays various instruments, is a philanthropist for children with special needs and has over a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Captain Angela Torres was enchanted by nature since her childhood, growing up with all kinds of outdoor activities and sports. She became fascinated by the ocean during her teenage years. After completing studies in advertising and marketing, she gained many years of experience in the customer service, sales and event coordination fields allowing her the opportunity to develop a career in the luxury-hospitality industry of Puerto Rico. Angie maintains her passion for nature, the ocean and sailing a priority and as a captain she can combine all of them into doing what she loves every day.

Do you know the difference between a Hawksbill Sea Turtle (Carey) and Green Sea Turtle? Can you identify this fellow? 🐢 The Hawksbill Sea Turtle or Carey has a beak, smaller brown shell with black markings and serrated edges while the Green Sea Turtle has a round face, larger green shaded shell with soft edges. 🐢 Hawksbill's are omnivorous while juvenile Green Turtles are carnivorous turning herbivorous as adults. 🐢 Hawksbill turtles live in coral reefs while the Green Sea turtles live on seagrass shores and shallow lagoons. 🐢 Sadly, their biggest similarity is that they are BOTH on the endangered species list. 🐢 Always remember to protect our marine life, ecosystems and take any trash with you.
