We envision to reach every young cancer survivor who is actively seeking for a scholarship and/or financial assistance to obtain prosthetics needing our help to continue their education for personal growth and better, brighter future.

Cancer Survivors' Fund:
- provides scholarships for young cancer survivors, give them a new purpose and meaning in life and enable them to continue their college education
- provides prosthetic limbs to disadvantaged young adults.
- counsels, provides emotional support, and motivates young cancer survivors and channel their thoughts and dreams to a healthy and productive future.
- supports young survivors to become volunteers themselves, give others courage and hope to develop a strong willpower to continue their fight with cancer.

The VHL Alliance (VHLA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1993 by three families with VHL to share experiences, learn from one another, support one another, and help the doctors understand and treat VHL, and improve life for patients. Today, the VHL Alliance is the preeminent resource and clearinghouse of patients, caregivers, researchers, and the medical community.

VHL disease is a genetic condition characterized by blood vessel tumors in up to ten areas of the body. These tumors can be benign or cancerous.
VHL, or von Hippel-Lindau, is named after two physicians that described these tumors in different parts of the body. Eugen von Hippel was an ophthalmologist who first described these tumors in the eye, and Arvid Lindau described them in the brain and spine. Today we understand that these manifestations, as well as manifestations in 7 other areas of the body, are caused by a flaw in one gene, the VHL gene.

Since it is impossible to predict exactly how the disease will present or progress in a particular person, regular surveillance is extremely important for people living with VHL.
