A Perfect Stay at Puntas Del Mar – A True Paradise in Rincón!
Our recent stay at Casa Buena Fortuna (A14) at the beachfront Puntas Del Mar gated community in Rincón was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking ocean views, the beautifully maintained property, and the peaceful ambiance that made this the perfect getaway for a relaxing, low-key getaway..
The three-floor, three-bedroom, three bath condo itself was immaculate—modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. The large third-floor terrace is a perfect hangout, with sun and shade options as well as a whirlpool bath. The bedrooms (2 kings and one with two twins) were incredibly comfortable. Newly renovated tennis and pickleball courts are on the property. The beautiful onsite meandering pool was a wonderful bonus, offering another relaxing place to spend or unwind after a day of adventure. And, Jenn stocks a wide range of equipment and beach toys for the pool and beach so no need to bring or buy.
For us, what will be most memorable (after the ocean and the sky) was the wonderful, eclectic extensive Puerto Rican art collection featured throughout the unit. Every time you turn a corner you come upon some art that makes you smile.
The location was unbeatable! Just steps from the almost private beach, we spent our days relaxing by the shore, watching the surfers, amazed by the changing colors of the turquoise sea and the cerulean sky, comforted by crashing surf sounds. You can also explore the charming town of Rincón, with its wide-range of restaurants, bars, local shops, grocery stores and laid-back surf culture.
Our host Jenn was exceptional—friendly, incredibly responsive, and committed to making sure our stay was perfect. Her attention to detail and hospitality truly made us feel at home. Her enthusiasm for the place was evident and infectious. She has a wealth of local information, offering wonderful suggestions for where to eat and what to do based on her over 15 years of experience..
Sorry if this is a bit long. I could go on and on. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet cozy retreat in Rincón, Casa Buena Fortuna A14 at Puntas Del Mar is the place to go. For us, waking up every morning with no particular place to go was pure bliss. We can’t wait to return and experience this slice of paradise again … maybe next time with our children and grandchildren.
