The ARTwalk (puerto rico) is an independent creative cultural platform designed to promote Puerto Rico's vibrant art scene through curated experiences and ARTwalk tours. Our mission is to encourage a spirit of appreciation, collecting and philanthropy in support of Puerto Rican artists in locals, visitors and international settings.We are passionate and proud of our artists and want people to live the essence of what is happening in our art scene in a knowledgeable, relaxed and fun way by providing different experiences of getting to know an artist first hand, visit their studio or experience a museum in a special way. Our “rutas y experiencias” include a range of experiences from a group tour of la Calle Cerra and their murals, casual cocktails at Santurce’s alternative art spaces, or a private sit-down dinner at an artist's studio and for the family how about a private sleep-over at a museum. TheARTwalk will also tailor experiences based on what is happening such as festivals and fairs like Santurce es Ley and MECA Art Fair. TheARTwalk (puerto rico)'s future long-term is to expand its services to New York and Chicago where so many Puerto Rican artists are living and producing their work.
objective and vision
Promote and encourage interest in Puerto Rican culture and integrate the world of visual arts and its contemporary expressions into tourism and economic development platform of Puerto Rico. With our programs we hope to integrate contemporary art and artists as ambassadors of our country, who represent Puerto Rico in international audiences. We understand that the art and tourism experience market is an important sector full of diverse opportunities for progress, growth and development for the island. As well to become a tool that supports and complements the cultural offer that artists and cultural managers perform in their art events and projects of muralism, urban art, festivals and fairs.
