We are sharing our dream home in paradise. Located on the north shores with views of the main island, the hills and ocean. The home is close to "town", all the beautiful beaches and activities while providing a private oasis on almost 2 acres. The island is not that big so you get the best of country life while bein

g close to everything....
The space
This property is NEVER shared. NOTE The original Casa Mimosa listing was hacked and not recoverable but we are BACK:) with the same Super Host Team our repeat guests have known to love and rely on! The house has it all! Three large bedrooms, 2.5 Baths (plus an outdoor shower), 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, A full stocked kitchen & kitchenette, an office, two laundry rooms, two screened porches...AND THAT IS JUST THE HOUSE! Outdoor living is equally fabulous. Chaise lounges for all, comfortable shady Gazebo with dining and seating. The third bedroom will be configured as a king BUT can be configured as 2 twin beds if requested at time of your reservation. For your adventures? Beach chairs, coolers and umbrella for the beach. We have kept all the things repeat guests have loved about this house and added some updates and amenities. The property is fully fenced and gated. We do recommend a car, better yet a small SUV as the property is accessed by a dirt road not suitable for golf carts. Guest access
You will have the entire property to yourself. Other things to note
Please no children under 8. We strongly discourage golf carts or UTV rentals as primary transportation. The island roads are not cart paths and to get our views you do need to travel a short but steep dirt road. Jeeps, Bronco or cars will have no issue but it is not suitable for carts. The third bedroom will be configured as a king size bed but can be confined with two twins if requested at time of your reservation.

Just another “glimmer”….

Our welcome committee 😂. We have the best NEIGHbors😂. Sometimes our guests get “blocked in” at the gate and need to wait for traffic to clear.

These cuties are also why everyone keeps their gates closed and trash cans secured from the furry gangsters … they will get in the trash, eat the landscaping and are not necessarily smart enough to find their way way out …. (What do they say by all looks and no….😂)

Vieques .. More than just beaches... the Story of The Vieques Ceiba Pentandra: Tree of Life.

Ernesto knocked power out to all of Vieques, Culebra and most of the main island..... while many in Vieques had had power restored.. many STILL are WITHOUT Power..... The beaches are still beautiful, people welcoming, stores stocked and many places are business as usual.... So COME Visit but first check with your host to be sure your rental is up and running.....

Today Caracas was not what I was expecting …. But there was beauty in the wreckage of Beryl. Sometimes in the midst of ugly … if you try to take some time and search you will find something to make you smile. Our beaches are unspoiled and natural.. and that means they are ever changing. Caracas still has some of the seaweed and grass on the beach from Beryl. Yet the water is see your toes clear! There is a patch of seaweed mid beach but either side the water is crystal clear. The beach has lots of washed up seaweed but it was beautiful shell and treasure hunting. Along with the shells a group of us filled a bag with some trash (always keep trash bags in your beach bag!) So while I really thought I needed some sugar sand beach time today….
