Sal del Mar, our urban beach home, is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Puerto Rico. We walk everywhere... to the store, restaurants, beach, lighthouse, fort, ferry and fish market. We love that during the day we have the usual noises of a small town, from laughter to loud music, to children playing in the street and horses (as well as dogs, chickens and cats) walking up and down the street

at all hours of the day and night. We love that we can hear the ocean below, the tree frogs above, and the wind in the trees. We love the warm ocean breezes and the fact that you can dry your clothes on the back porch railing in 60 minutes or less. Most of all, we love the feeling of community that we have in Vieques! Sal del Mar Urban Beach House is well equipped for your travels. Come visit us to rekindle a romance, explore nature, or just work on getting rid of those tan lines!

When they say 9 feet, they mean 9 feet! Another glorious day… a little bit balmy, but the winds are from the east, and it was nearly freezing last night! In fact, the low was 72° and we needed a blanket!
