Palestine grieves the loss of a remarkable man and beloved friend. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeff Deyoe, who bravely fought against a brain tumor. Jeff played a vital role, actively leading and participating in numerous Olive Picking and Tree Planting programs in Palestine.

Jeff's commitment to Palestine and the Palestinians cause made a real difference in our community. His passion for bringing people together and for standing in solidarity with the Palestinian touched everyone around him. We honor Jeff's lasting impact and remember him as a caring and inspiring person.

ATG stands united with all those who had the privilege of knowing and cherishing Jeff, offering our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. May his soul find eternal peace.

The city of Beit Sahour, where the ATG is located, has the first smart street in the Bethlehem Governorate . It has nice walking paths, cycling paths, and wireless charging centers. We are very excited to see you walking this path that leads to the Shepherds field in the city.

It is with our greatest condolensces, that we share the sad news of our friend, Abd Alrauf al Mohtaseb, Abu Mohammad's passing.

Many of you have visited his shop in the old city of Hebron, and or had lunch at his house.

He will be missed, and may his soul rest in Peace.

ATG concluded its 25th Anniversary conference, after 2 days of activities.

On the 2nd day of the conference, ATG held 3 sessions on the Role of the church in Changing the perspective of Tourism in Palestine; Learning and Practicing justice for Palestine in tourism; and Alternative & Community based Tourism in Palestine, Forms and perspectives.

The speakers shared their perspectives on the issues based on their backgrounds, and drew important conclusions.

At the end of the sessions, Mr. Rami Kassis, the executive director of the ATG, concluded the workshops with the most important points that were mentioned, and it will be the first step towards a strategic working plan for the future of the ATG.

We would like to thank all those who attended our conference, locals and internationals, friends and partners, and we hope to see you all soon again in Palestine.

on the 20th of November, the ATG celebrated its 25th anniversary in Beit Sahour.

Representative from the ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Mayor of Beit Sahour, The Board members, Bishops and priests, locals and international, were present to celebrate with us our 25th anniversary.

We were very pleased to have you , friends and family, partners and supporters between us to celebrate this occassion. A lot of our work has been supported by you, encouraged, and executed, and for that we thank you for beleiving in the idea of the ATG.

Tree Planting Program
Despite the pandemic, 10 international brave volunteers joined us to participate in the Planting Program which is taking place from 5 – 14 February 2022.
On Wednesday 9 Feb they planted 100 olive trees in the field of Sarras family near Etzion colony south of Bethlehem.
