And we will have the third full moon this summer, which is why Full Moon returns, in its 26th edition, to Praia da Galé. The big news this year is the area reserved for the local book edition, for the promotion of handicrafts and a space aimed at children with inflatable toys, human statues, circus arts and a face painting stand, installed in the Praia da Galé parking lot. Organized by the Municipality of Albufeira, the party is celebrated to the sound of the best local artists. The night of September 17th will feature names such as China, Pippa and Charlie Spot, as well as "Estela Mota Live Singer" and Sofia Brito's fire manipulation performance. Everyone is invited to enjoy the last Full Moon of this summer, experiencing an unforgettable moment. It is recommended to wear white clothes and be in a good mood to dance barefoot on the sand under the immense light of the full moon.

The Albufeira Fisherman's Festival, on the weekend of the 6th to the 8th of this month, celebrates the Silver Wedding. It is 25 years since the celebration of what was the predominant activity of the then town of Albufeira, before Tourism became the predominant economic sector. Currently, Albufeira has 75 professional fishermen, but APPA – Association of Fishing Professionals of Albufeira has 120 members, coming from neighboring municipalities. The festivities open their doors on Friday, 6th, at 6pm.

This Gala aims to enhance and enhance equestrian culture, also contributing to promoting Albufeira as a tourist destination that offers diverse activities, with all audiences in mind. The program includes several moments of classical riding exercises, choreographies performed by high school riders and horses exclusively from the Algarve, accompanied by music. The knights wear formal attire and Portuguese saddles. The participating artists, musicians and dancers are all from the Algarve region.

Snacks, sweets and the singer "Toy" show are the attractions at the Feira da Terra e do Petisco, in Ferreiras, on the weekend of August 31st and September 1st. With the support of Albufeira City Hall, local businesses and Ferreiras associations, the event is organized by the Parish of Ferreiras and takes place in Largo da Nora, starting at 7pm, bringing together traditional gastronomy, regional sweets and popular crafts, as well as several shows musicals.

Official stage of the national skateboarding championship, part of the professional modality development program and the registration of the Portugal Cycle for Olympic Development 2021-2024. It will feature the best national skaters, divided into men's and women's divisions, counting the classification of Portuguese athletes for the national open ranking and respective qualification of the champion of the Pro Skate League 2024. This runs from the 12th to the 14th of April along the riverside area. Admission is free.

The largest international speed skating tournament in the Iberian Peninsula, which is part of the second stage of the European Cup, returns to Lagos with several skaters and clubs registered from various countries. The 19th edition of the competition, promoted by the Roller Lagos Clube de Patinagem and supported by the municipality, will have a first phase taking place on the Júlio Dantas Secondary School track and subsequently the usual speed test on Avenida dos Descobrimentos. It runs from the 5th to the 7th of April, Free Admission.
