Nestled in a quiet residential street bordering the Albufeira Old Town, this self-contained apartment is within easy walking distance to the historic town center (5 min walk), the sandstone rock of Peneco beach (6 min walk) and the vibrant Fisherman’s Pescadores beach (10 min walk).
Having recently undergone a complete renovation, the apartment features brand new wooden look floor tiles and an entirely new kitchen and bathroom. Furnished throughout with modern stylish décor, it exudes a fresh contemporary feel. All windows and doors are double glazed with thermally efficient glass for maximum comfort in both summer and winter.
BEDROOM
The apartment sleeps up to 4 guests. The bedroom features a Queen-Size spring mattress bed (measuring 160 x 200cm) tailored for a comfortable night rest for two. A sofa bed is available in the separate living room for up to another 2 guests. All linen and towels are provided for your stay.
LIVING ROOM
Sit back and relax in the light-filled living room with a split air-conditioner for heating & cooling comfort and a large 42-inch flat-screen TV. Enjoy local and international TV channels delivered through an IPTV internet streaming connection, or simply connect your own device to the HDMI ports for more entertainment options. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the apartment.
KITCHEN
Whip up breakfast or a light meal in the well-equipped kitchen & dining room featuring modern appliances including an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, cookware, and utensils.
OUTDOOR BALCONY
All rooms open out onto the ocean-facing private balcony with panoramic beach views overlooking the seascape village of Albufeira.
Watch the sunrise in the morning to witness the first light illuminating over the ocean horizon as you enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. Relax on the balcony in the cool afternoon shade while leisurely watching the world go by. Unwind at night, gazing across the glittering city lights and feel at ease as the gentle ocean waves lull you into a peaceful slumber.
Note: parental supervision of children is required at all times as the apartment is located on a 2-store apartment block.
LOCATION
Centrally situated within easy walking distance to the shops, cafes, restaurants, old town Albufeira center and beach (5 – 10 minutes). Meander through the old town streets and discover traditional Portuguese restaurants serving up delicious Algarve fish and seafood cuisines.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a small apartment block, accessed via 2 flights of stairs of approximately 30 steps in total. As is common in traditional Portuguese buildings, there are no lifts or elevators.
AIRPORT PICK-UP & DROP OFF
We can arrange airport pick up and drop off (for an additional charge).
As the apartment block is located on a local residential street, only cars and small vans can stop at the front entrance to pick up or drop off passengers. Larger vehicles (such as shuttle coaches or buses) are only permitted to stop at the nearby local bus stop (2 min walk).
CAR & PARKING
Almost everything you need for your stay in Albufeira is within a short 10-minute walk.
You do not need a car in Albufeira unless you plan on making frequent trips to explore other nearby towns. Limited street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are also 2 free public car parks nearby.
BUS, TRAIN & TAXI
A bus stop is located nearby for the local Giro bus network (2 min walk). The regional bus terminal which connects Albufeira to other major towns along the Algarve is situated approximately 1.5km to the north of the town center.
The Albufeira train station in nearby Ferreiras is about 6.5km (3.5 miles) from the apartment.
There are several taxi stands in the old town. We recommend that you use Victoria Bar in Rua Samora Barros as your pick up or drop off location. Victoria Bar is at the entrance of the apartment block courtyard.
CONVENIENCE STORES & SUPERMARKETS
Nearby supermarkets include a small convenience store (100 meters), a larger Intermarché supermarket (500 meters) and ALDI and LIDL (1.5 km).
BANK & ATM
ATM cash machines can be easily found at the local Intermarché supermarket and other places near the town center.
PUBS & BARS
The nearby Victoria Bar is a popular but quiet bar with a good mixture of locals and Brits.
NOISE AT NIGHT
Whilst some noise at night is inevitable, you won’t be disturbed by loud music. There is just one bar in this residential street. The apartment has double-glazed windows and doors, offering effective soundproofing and noise reduction.
