Wouldn’t be Albufeira without Nuno 😜
Beautiful restaurant with a play park about 15 minutes away from our apartment and well worth a visit.
Lunch at home today with - yes you guessed it a glass of wine 😜🇵🇹🍷

So we have been home a few days and missing our second home.
We had such a fab time and counting the days to next time!
Highlights on this trip were yet again VTours tours.
Pedro took us to an amazing restaurant with a view of the Silvers Castle Wall called Recanto Dos Mouros. There is no way you would find this without a recommendation from a local!
We went on the Benigal Boat tour (yes again, but not all my friends had done this previously) the water was a little choppy but great fun.
We visited some of the caves on the boardwalk in Carvoeiro, photo stop at the fountain of youth in Monchique and even had time to visit a wine yard.
Pedro Abrantes took lots of photos so we didn’t have to, he really looked after us and even put up with Sally’s singing.
Can not recommend using VTours enough.
Ofcourse no trip to Albuferia is complete without seeing Nuno Ess in the old town and this year I think Penny and Nikki were super fans. 😂
Lots and lots of nice food and cocktails but the extremely large glasses at Restaurante Casa Nova Albufeira made the evening even more enjoyable while waiting for our delicious food - Love this place and the service. If you want steak this is our go to restaurant.
Beach wise we always visit Galé Beach and Pedras Amarelas. It was a little overcast but we made our own fun 😁 this beach is one of my favourites as it feels miles away from Albuferia and less than 10 euros in a cab.
We also had food and drink in the complex at Restaurante O Pavilhão and Casa Azul - Restaurante & Pool Bar both of which offer different things but great service and value.
10/10 trip all round!

Nice glass of wine this evening while appreciating the view.
It’s even nicer this evening as my 17 year old boy is cooking Fajitas 😀
Great day at Aqualand today and here is our is our review. 😀🇵🇹☀️
We have a 17 year old, 16 and 7 year old and we all enjoyed Aqualand.
It is a small water park but enough to keep everyone happy for the day. We arrived around 11 am and left just before 5pm.
It cost around £85 for all five of us to enter the park and we took a picnic. So we only needed money for Ice creams and the sun beds (these should have been 4 euros each but nobody came to collect the money so we didn’t pay 😬)
We also opted to buy 2 photos which were taken as we arrived.
The Park is about 10/15 minutes drive from our apartment and even though we have a car I believe a taxi would cost around 15 euro each way.
The kids area was great which we used as a base. My little one loved the slides and splash area.
The cobra slide was the scariest as you don’t expect the drop to be so steep.
Kamikaze was fun and the boys had a competition to see who could get to the end of the pool without stopping.
Congo River was fun for the whole family.
The park is clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their English was amazing as normal 🤦🏼♀️
Overall a great park for all ages.
If we didn’t have our 7 year old with us I think this park would have been to small but for a family with mixed ages it was great fun, not to expensive and we would recommend. 💦🎢🛝☀️🇵🇹
We went for a quite last night 😘
