There is a wet room separate from the yurt, with hot and cold running water, a shower, basin and a toilet. Dipping pool July onwards. Set in its own plot approximately 15 meters by 40 meters, within 2 hectors of our property. You will be surrounded by natural beauty; birds, ( eagles spotted ) many varieties of trees, bushes and flowers, overlooking the stunning Douro Valley ( A World Heritage site
). The area is tranquil and peaceful, with just odd voices from across the fields, neighbours gathering their crops, to the odd dog woofing across the valley! The woodpeckers hammering away, the cuckoos calling, to the crickets singing in the evening. There is a host of things to do in and around the Douro and in the North. Fishing, canoeing, swimming, river beaches, cycling, markets, golf, river cruises, shopping, water parks, cultural events, museums, the list is endless! Porto is a beautiful city to explore with its funicular railway, fish restaurants, port wine tasting houses and beaches. Amarante is very pretty, with the River Tamega running through. Steeped in history. Markets twice a week. We are offering from October, 2015 3 nights for the price of 2, until March 2016.

If you are a large group there is plenty of room for the odd tent, and we also have a 6-8 man tent available to hire. Due to being on a hillside the site isn't suitable for those with walking difficulties, however, we hope to be able to offer suitable accommodation for all in the near future.
