We are very excited and honoured to announce that this beautifully talented musician will be performing a backyard gig in our place as part of his European tour.
Born and raised on the Hawaiian islands, Paul is now bringing his music to Europe for the first time. His sound is a wonderful blend of conscious, uplifting lyrics, soulful harmonica and memorable guitar riffs.

The evening event will be made even more special with delicious Middle Eastern food available from Moaz and a bar fully stocked and run by local artisan brewer, MAN!A.

For us, the guesthouse is this never ending sculpture.. it always needs a little attention here or re innovation of some sort there.
And that is exactly what we love.
To look at every corner again and again and see the opportunities for improvement or just another twist, to use our creativity and skills to recreate, reinvent.

✣ Singing ❤️ Sharing Circle ✣

Tuesday the 6th of February at 17.30 we unite through sharing voices, music and words from our heart at Casa Meranka in Figueira.

You are invited into a safe loving space where all of you is welcomed. We are coming together to deepen our brother and sisterhood, giving space and sharing to what is alive in us in the present moment.

We will sing mantras, heart and medecine songs with guitar and harmonium to gently shift our energy into the heartspace. There are drums and shaker available for you to join the ritme. After a short guided meditation we will flow into a heartsharing circle.

We will keep this group a bit smaller to give enough space for all to share. Reserve your spot in time 🙏

Growing up in Holland where in the past water was a threat due to flooding, it was difficult to imagine that people would pray for water.
Living for the last 8 years in the south of Portugal showed me this other reality.
Being conscious about how to use water, being confronted with wildfires and drought is a lesson to keep your eyes open and learn that every county has its beauty and its challenging sides of life.

It strengthens the connection with ourself, each other and the mystical space beyond all. Engelbert hosted in the past 11 years many singing circles. He found a unique style that heals, transforms and open the heart. It's always a special experience. No experience or singing skills is needed, it's easy to sing along. The mantra's are simpel but powerful, with space for free vocal expressions.
