November is one of my favourite times of the year (obviously December is divine because of the lights and festivities) however there is something divine about November, lovely long sunny days, early morning and late evening swims in the Atlantic Ocean watching the sun go down.

Madeira island, I miss you so, could it be in November we go?

This is something I am so proud of, the home where our Papa and his siblings grew up. What was once an overgrown and unused vineyard is now a beautiful pool area to be enjoyed by our lovely guests.

Don’t mind if I do, thank you.... nip off from De Casa Villa, less than 5 mins drive away, to this lovely spot where you can bask in the sun, play volley ball or swim in the water. Ice cold beers/lovely cocktail with a meal or just ice cream if you please.

Missing this gorgeous island so much, if you get the chance, check out , its one of those incredible places that has so much to offer but often untold.

Adam, travelled to Madeira and stayed there for a bit and was able to really capture some interesting things about this incredible place I love so much!

According to Adam, he writes int he article that
Flight bookings shot up by 625% last Friday, according to Skyscanner, while lastminute also noted a 1,131% increase in searches for this “pearl of the Atlantic” in the days following the announcement of England’s travel green list.

This is largely because the island is one of few traditional British beach holiday destinations on the list (mainland Portugal and Gibraltar being the others). It also helps that visitors can get a free PCR test on arrival or departure.

I’m not going to lie, I am a teeny tiny bit jealous of this gorgeous weather in Madeira!

Because of it being a subtropical island just North of The Canaries you will find the climate is mild throughout the year with just the right heat and sunshine in the summer and with a very mild winter.

It’s no wonder that so many go to Madeira for some winter sunshine!
