Hello travelers! My name is Joanne. Over the past two years I have planted the seeds of my dreams and what an amazing and exciting journey it has been! In August 2014 I moving lock, stock and barrel to Portugal to start a very different life style from my previous life as a hairdressing Salon owner in Oxfordshire, UK. I came across the Quinta of Vivenda S.Tiago with the Castle of Castelo de Vide perched dominantly above on the mountain side when touring Portugal. I instantly fell in love with this magical place...so bravely I changed my life and took on 1.5 acres of 80 olive trees, grape vines, fig trees and an organic vegetable garden. I added a 50sq.m studio for guests and aptly named it ‘Sleepy Santiago’…peaceful, tranquil and calm, with views to die for! Now I would love to share my home with you; giving you my personal attention throughout your stay, share my recommendations and guide you in discovering this amazing and magical area! Happy traveling, Joanne :)xx
