Antonio met us at the airport to make sure that we were squared away with a rental car and knew where we were going. His recommendations and itinerary were perfect. We originally booked our trip through a travel agency in the US, had we not found Antonio are trip would have no where been as memorable or smooth.

We're in our early 50s and had been to many of the tourist sites in Portugal previously on a self-guided trip. This time, we wanted a trip focused primarily on surfing and beach towns, while also enjoying excellent local food, wines, and cultural experiences. Antonio and Vitor did a great job on short notice crafting a tour that had everything we wanted and much more! They arranged hotels and restaurants, did all the driving, rented all the gear, introduced us to places, food, wine & people we wouldn't have found on our own, and they provided illuminating insights from their wealth of knowledge and personal experiences. They are professional, considerate, creative, flexible, and pleasant travel companions.

As my wife had never surfed, it was especially important to me that she could explore other interests as desired while I was out surfing with Vitor - usually about 1/2 the day. Antonio ensured she never got "stuck" at a remote beach and Vitor, an experienced surf instructor, did an excellent job giving my wife a surf lesson - she had a great time and was able to stand on the board! The Azenhas do Mar in the coastal area of Sintra are a true photo postcard, surprising due to their geographical location, with the houses descending down the cliff side to the sea, bathed in an idealizing white light.

With an ocean pool that enchants visitors and the sand that doesn't exceed 30 meters, but at high tide it can disappear completely, it is one of the most popular beaches among bathers in the municipality.

We drunk one of the most unique wines in the world in Colares, Sintra! The red Ramisco grape only exist in this area and grows in sand soils, harvest in 2013 and aged for 6 years in reused France oak. Join us ride351.com

Ride351 - Surf Trips Portugal was founded in 2013, created in partnership with QueluzTur - Travel Agency with over 23 years in business, to provide surf experiences for all surfers’ ages and levels – from beginners to advanced ones. We want to present the best spots to surf, the best of gastronomy and the most beautiful places to visit in Portugal. All to offer one unforgettable experience of surf, culture and gastronomy in Portugal! Just have to surf and relax! We'll take you and your friends from the hotel or airport to the best spots in our coast, considering weather and sea condition as well as your skill level, in order to offer you the best time ever while you are travelling with us. Portugal’s geographical position is unique in Europe: we benefit from around 900 km of open beach-breaks, reef-breaks and gorgeous bays. In Portugal we are blessed with great swells during most of the year, but the best swells come in late winter to early spring. You just have to come and Ride with us! The whole coast is rich in surfing spots, some very well known but also some unknown ones which are equally good or even better. They are less crowded and with perfect waves, mostly they are not far away but you really have to know how to get there. All you need is a Surf Trip in Portugal, a little spirit and you'll be amazed!
