Back from vacation and what an amazing time we had! ✨ We drove a big part of the N2 and even got to explore a little bit of Spain. 🇵🇹🇪🇸 It was fantastic, although we would have loved to spend a few more days at the beach... but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side. 😅 The plan is to head out again in February, this time towards the Douro Valley! 🍇🍷 Any tips for us?

🇵🇹 De volta das férias e que tempo incrível passamos! ✨ Dirigimos uma boa parte da N2 e conseguimos explorar um pedacinho da Espanha. 🇵🇹🇪🇸 Foi maravilhoso, embora tivéssemos adorado passar mais alguns dias na praia... mas, infelizmente, o tempo não ajudou. 😅 O plano agora é viajar de novo em fevereiro, desta vez rumo à região do Douro! 🍇🍷 Alguém tem dicas para nós?

Today marks the end of our first incredible season, and it’s hard to put into words how special it has been. We've had amazing guests, embraced outdoor living, and learned so much along the way. We're feeling inspired and excited for what’s to come next year. But for now, it's time to close our doors, spend time with family, explore more of Portugal, and work behind the scenes. Stay tuned – we'll be sharing updates regularly!

A few weeks ago, we took a trip to Torres Novas for some errands and accidentally stumbled upon this charming little city, just 20 minutes from our Quinta. It’s the perfect spot to spend a morning wandering around, exploring the castle, and enjoying lunch at one of the local restaurants. Read more about Torres Novas in my latest blog.

Dornes is a pilgrimage site due to the apparition of ‘Nossa Senhora do Pranto.’ Every year, including on August 15th, there is a pilgrimage to Dornes.

The village itself consists of small, narrow streets with old houses and offers a beautiful view of the water and green hills. There is also a small beach where you can relax. 🚗 15 minutes

🇵🇹 Dornes é um local de peregrinação devido à aparição de ‘Nossa Senhora do Pranto.’ Todos os anos, incluindo no dia 15 de agosto, há uma peregrinação a Dornes.

A própria aldeia é composta por pequenas e estreitas ruas com casas antigas e oferece uma bela vista sobre a água e as colinas verdes. Há também uma pequena praia onde se pode relaxar. 🚗 15 minutos
