Located in a quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes walk to the center of Funchal. It's a 17 minutes drive from the airport. A perfect location for exploring the island as it's very central to go either east or west, as well as north. There are many things you can see and do in Funchal, like visiting the market, the Madeira wine museum, taking a boat trip to watch dolphins and whales, taking a cable car

to the gardens of Monte, go on levada walks, etc. From the front side of the house you have views over the mountains and from the backside views over the ocean and the center of Funchal. The house has bedrooms (2 with a double bed each) and 2 bathrooms, a living room leading to the front yard and a kitchen, leading to the backyard. Wi-Fi available. There is also a washing machine and laundry lines. The price varies from the different sites where we are listed, according to the comission they charge (We list 2 rooms in the whole house on HomeAway/Abritel/FeWo-direkt and Homelidays and the private room on Airbnb.com). The house seen from the front. A parking space on the property. A spacious living room as you enter the house, which leads to the kitchen and to the backyard with a view over Funchal and the ocean. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The one you see here is in the front and 2 others in the back of the house (2 of the bedrooms have a balcony). The house has 3 bathrooms.

We especially recommend the fish section (fresh tuna being our very favourite), but you can also find flowers and all sorts of exotic fruits and vegetables.
