🌳🥾 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: An unforgettable journey through Madeira’s endemic forest (Laurissilva) ending in a breathtaking viewpoint called “Miradouro dos Balcões” where you can see Madeira’s Central Mountain Massif, where Pico do Areeiro, Pico das Torres and Pico Ruivo stand out. It is also one of the shortest and easiest levada walks you can make, making it perfect for family programs and beginners! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎒❤️

🗺️ How to Get There:

Depart from Funchal ➡️ VR1 ➡️ Ribeira Brava ➡️ VE1 ➡️ Machico ➡️ Follow the road signs to Ribeiro Frio. You will find the trailhead near the trout farm (parking available nearby👍).

⛑️ Trail details, tips, and safety guidelines:

1️⃣ Route: 3 km, 1.5 hours, suitable for all fitness levels.

2️⃣ Wear sturdy, non-slip shoewear to walk on uneven, sometimes wet surfaces.
