As 2024 is about to come to an end, I’d just like to say a big "OBRIGADO" for your continued support, especially to those who have travelled with me this year. Looking back, this has been one of the best years I had so far, with memories and experiences I will always remember.
Looking ahead to 2025, I’ve worked on a new set of trips with some exciting new routes and experiences to discover the real Portugal. This is the perfect time to give yourself a real present and start planning your next adventure with us.
Christmas is the time of renewing our hope in a better and greener world, so I will be taking some time off to care for one of my biggest passions - my own oak tree forest.
Most importantly for now, I’d like to wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and an adventurous new year.
I hope we'll meet again soon in one of our trips across the unknown Portugal.

When travel is so much more than just putting miles on the odometer.
For us it's mostly about discovering the wonders of our world. And what better way to do it than to be surrounded by nature?
There's no experience like leaving the car behind and feeling the aromas, the vastness and the sheer beauty of a whole region.
What a day this was admiring the fauna, flora and local heritage of the with our friends from , Pedro Faria Bravo and Câmara Municipal de Mértola

To celebrate the International Day of the Iberian Lynx, we headed to a special place in the south of Portugal searching for this amazing species, and guess what: After waiting for a while we were surprised by two of these felines fighting for their morning ration of wild rabbit, their prefered source of nurishment. What a sight and what an amazing experience! These animals really made our day!

Who has ever tasted a persimmon straight from the tree? After a day's work in the forest looking after our project, this was a gift from the heavens.

Today is Thursday, so let's go back to Jan 30th 1986, which was also a Thursday ;).
These photos were taken at an old railway maintenance facility, while exploring some parts of northeast Portugal together with Overland Europe.
It was great to see how things used to be in the old days, and this is still one of the best memories from that trip.

Our trip around the south of Portugal is called "Taste of Africa" for many good reasons:
- The vast, open landscapes of the resemble those of the African savannas, especially during the hot summer months.
- The local culture still has influences of the heritage left by the north african peoples who inhabited our country for nearly five centuries.
- Many villages in the Alentejo and the Algarve have a kind of north african feel, that will transport you to faraway places in the big continent.
- Last but not least, the food has a wonderful mediterranean taste and many ingredients were even brought from the former Portuguese colonies in Africa.

Now that you know why we call this trip a "taste of africa", stay tuned because next year we'll be coming back for more adventures in this unique region of Portugal.

The first thing we did after unpacking the car was…
As you know already we have a reforestation project in our village where we plant an indigenous tree 🌳 for every customer coming on our trips.
During our last trip around the north of Portugal 🇵🇹 we collected many acorns in some of the most iconic places in the region. After preparing the soil we’ve put them in small pots and now it’s just a matter of time before they start to germinate and become beautiful oaks to be planted next spring!!

Today is #TreeTuesday 🌲 You know by now that we plant a tree for every customer coming on our trips, right? After a few days of really bad weather and a terrible cold, it was time to go back to the woodland to check how they are doing. As always, nature surprised us with wonderful colours and little details, and one tree even looked like it was smiling at us 😊. This and much more is what sets apart as a tour company.
