O velejador Eduardo Marques subiu hoje ao terceiro lugar no Europeu de ILCA 7 e na sexta-feira vai lutar por uma medalha na frota de ouro em Kalamari, na região de Atenas. Com um quarto, um quinto e um nono lugares, o português ascendeu cinco posições, até terceiro, com 19 pontos, a somente um do italiano Alessio Spadoni, segundo, com 18, e a seis da liderança, do israelita Omer Vilenchik.

Lourenço Mateus foi segundo numa regata, contudo o 18.º e 26.º, que descartou, nas restantes fizeram-no baixar oito posições, para 23.º, com 37 pontos, apesar de ainda ficar na frota de ouro, em competição que tem ainda a de prata e bronze.

Com somente duas frotas na competição feminina, a jovem Luísa Peres vai disputar a de prata em ILCA 6, uma vez que caiu de 86.ª para 103.ª, após ser 44.ª, 46.ª e 49.ª, somando 223 pontos.
