Located in São João, a charismatic neighborhood in the East part of the city, you can experience the day-to-day life as an "Alfacinha" (Lisbon native). There is also small cabana next to the Lemon Tree where the guests can eat on the warmer days. The apartment is also equipped with 100 mbps Wi-Fi, making it a good location for homeworking. The best way to access the apartment is take the metro either to Arroios or Alameda. You can then walk (10 minutes) or take one of the buses (718 or 742) to the apartment. When arriving from the airport, the best option would be the taxi as no trip inside Lisbon to the house will cost more than 10 euros. If you are travelling by car, parking is easily found in close proximity to the apartment. The host Alexandre was raised in the neighborhood, but has since moved to Brussels. He and his girlfriend, Isabelle, will be available to provide information in Portuguese, English or French.
