A classic in Lisbon. Gambrinus is a luxury restaurant that dates back to 1936. But there is also a counter where you can have the delicious croquettes or taste the wonderful prego (steak sandwich) while you enjoy a beer. Gambrinus croquettes are famous all over the city. Soft, tasty, warm, they are perfect snacks for the night and it is very usual to see long lines at the door, just to have a couple of croquettes at the counter. Closes at midnight.

Os croquetes do Gambrinus são famosos. Lisbon's Roman Galleries are almost 2000 years old and occupy the underground in the Baixa borough. They are usually flooded and can only be visited twice a year. Last week, one of our guides had the privilege of seeing them and delving into the city's past.
As Galerias Romanas de Lisboa têm quase 2000 anos e ocupam o subsolo da Baixa. Estão habitualmente submersas e podem apenas ser visitadas duas vezes por ano. Na passada semana, um dos nossos guias teve o privilégio de as ver e mergulhar no passado da cidade.

Oh my God, what was this? We just had a eels pastel de nata with capers’ salt at the new restaurant of and went crazy. So crazy, that we had 4 of those at .chefkiko. We know it sounds strange, but trust us: it is delicious.
