Through food tours, cooking classes and private dinners, Taste of Lisboa shows you the real Lisbon, the one locals live in, and our real food. It also helps you to avoid feeling lost and overwhelmed in the city discovering experience. Our entertaining food and cultural walking tours takes you off the beaten track, to get a unique glimpse of fascinating Lisbon, leading you through real neighborhood

During our 3-4 hours tours, we lead you in small groups (max.10), as small as you feel intimate enough and not on a touristic tour, but among people taking a leisurely stroll through Lisbon's many diamonds in the rough. We advise you to do it at the beginning of your stay at Lisbon, so that you will be armed with information, knowledge and confidence to continue exploring Lisbon areas where locals live and eat well! Our cooking classes allow you to get acquainted with the ingredients and spices we use in Portuguese cuisine, and go back home with your how-to-cook-it souvenir. Our private dinners allow you to get an intimate experience on how Lisbonners live, how well they home cook, and how great and friendly hosts they are. "I did this tour through Baixa and Mouraria and loved it. Daniela is a superb guide who shows Lisbon with real passion and enthusiasm, deeply feeling and living the city. On this tour, besides eating and drinking true snacks, I felt that I rediscovered a part of Lisbon, which I thought I knew but surprised me. I discovered hidden streets and squares in Mouraria, a little magical village, reminiscent of old Lisbon. I saw this neighborhood with new eyes, guided by the stories Daniela told us about the neighborhood, the city, fado, the people, and the iconic swallows. “Really excellent. Had a very informative walk around the St Dominic’s Square and Mouraria area with great food stops on the way. Small group of 11 which was nice - some of them are huge. Had a great time. Special shout out for our guide Raquel who was funny, personable and lovely. I also mentioned to her that we were going to Évora the next day and she was kind enough to give us 3 recommendations for there - we managed to get in at one of them (Taberna Sal Grosso) and so far it’s been the best restaurant we’ve been to in Portugal - so huge thanks to her for that especially. Overall one of the best food walking tours we’ve done anywhere. Really recommend.” Grant_UK via
