�Tagarela Tours® was founded in 2017 moved by the enormous passion in contact with other cultures, languages, historical informations and mostly to share experiences and curiosities about Portugal and it's costumes. This is a company directed to organizing tours through the city of Lisbon in a nature friendly Eco Tuk as well as private tours in vehicles for 5 or 8 seats, all over the country. You

can also count on Tagarela to schedule your vacations in our two bedroom apartment at any time of the year, in the well known Falésia beach, in the region of Albufeira, Algarve. We will also help you with any tips to organize your travel plans. Together with our partners we have various activities and experiences to offer. From tickets at special prices for the Oceanarium, boat trips through the Tejo or Sado areas, visits to wine estates and Olive oil farms and a fantastic, personalized and complete tour through Bali-Indonesia. I had the pleasure in guide this Australian group from Lisbon to Porto with a stop in Nazaré and Aveiro and a strategic stop in Mealhada for a typical dish: suckling pig.
I had a wonderful time! Specially with Ann who organized the trip for her group. And also did a Tuk tour to explore Lisbon in her first day in town.

Another summer tour to be remembered.
This time it was a tour that had to be altered at the last minute due to a fire alert. For that motive, both Pena Palace and Regaleira were closed. Then I decided to take my guests to the Queluz Palace, with a walking tour through Sintra's village and Cascais.

The first time was back in 2022 where we did a half day Tuk tour. This time we did a full day tour to Fátima, Batalha and Alcobaça.
Like me, they love conventual traditional pastries.

Those groups that stay with us in our hearts and memory!!
I had the opportunity to get to know this family, originally from Guiana.
Super friendly and always in a great mood. I did with them a full day to Sintra and organized and guided for their family of 11 members a trip from Lisbon to Algarve.
It was a real pleasure getting to know them and having shared so much in so little time that we were together.

And for the 4th day I decided to take my girls to one of my favorite ice cream stores in Lisbon on my Tuk Tuk.
It was the way I had to say goodbye to them, since I had so much fun in their company during our tours.

They helped me get through an evening drive to Lisbon, from Algarve, with their playlist, singing and laughter during the whole trip.

Tagarela Tours adapts to any request or any last minute alteration to it's tours. This round trip to Porto was one of those cases.
The day started very early in Lisbon with arrival in Porto at around 10am. We did an incredible mini tour of the 6 bridges of the city and a walking tour through its streets. And of course, we couldn't miss the Francesinha typical dish.
The tour only finished at around 7pm in Leça da Palmeira. But the day itself only ended when I arrived back in Lisbon.
It was a long but an amazing day with my girls from San Diego.

Still about my tour in the region of Alentejo: I met the carpet maker Elisabete. From a very young age she started learning how to do Arraiolos tapestries. She greated us with open arms in her house of carpets to show us how she still does this genuine handmade Arraiolos rugs. She keeps on teaching the embroidery technique to the younger generations in the hopes that this knowledge doesn't get lost in the future. Curious to know more about this art and this little village? Even with the cold and the rain nothing demotivated them from spending a morning on the royal quarters and gardens from the Queluz Palace. In another time it was the oficial residence of the Queen D.Maria I and the princes D.João VI and Carlota Joaquina. It was used until the french invasions em 1807, when the Royal Family left for Brasil. It's here, in this palace that D.Pedro IV from Portugal (Pedro I, emperor of Brasil) was borned and died. Abdicating his crown for his daughter, the future Queen D.Maria II. 🇵🇹Uma manhã dedicada à cultura, história e lazer entre familiares e amigos. Embora o frio e chuva nada nos demoveu de passar uma manhã entre os aposentos reais e os jardins do palácio de Queluz. Outrora, residência oficial da rainha D.Maria I e dos príncipes regentes D.Joao VI e Carlota Joaquina. A very summarized reels about Sunday's tour. It was an immense pleasure to be able to participate and guide this excursion with my friend and colleague Vanessa to Serra da Estrela. We stopped at several points of scenic, gastronomic and cultural interest in the region. Of course, olive oil, cheese, and artisanal products were not forgotten. With a heterogeneous group that brought together English, Americans and Portuguese on a unique day that was so different for everyone. Mainly for those older people who haven't left their homes for a long time to explore a little more of their Portugal and, above all, who never thought they would be able to communicate with other foreign language participants. It was great to see the conviconviviality at the table and throughout the trip. For most of the group, the highlight was the village of Cabeça. Where, at this time of year, the decorations in the village are filled with LED lights and natural decoration, using only materials gathered from the nature of the region. All the decorative effects that we can find there are made by local artisans and many pieces can be purchased along with them. In fact, something unique and so traditional that it enchants even those who do not celebrate this Xmas season, but who appreciate these arts. We are already preparing our next excursion!
