Located in the historical quarter of Alfama, the home of Fado, our apartament is cozy and beautifully decorated with all the facilities you could ask for! Come taste the real Lisbon! Centrally located with easy access to all interesting places in Lisbon, you can either stay around the neighbourhood and walk through it's ancient typical narrow streets and corners, have a nice lunch or dinner in one
of the many Fado restaurants and tavernas or admire the wonderful views over Lisbon and the Tejo river from a hill. Stay at a place where the locals still live their lives as if the 21st century hasn't reached this part of the city and time stood still, where children play in the street and neighbours talk to each other from window to window. In our street lives Dona Tininha, who serves the typical beverage of "ginjinha" at the window of her living-room facing the street. You absolutely have to try this! Nearby you can visit the "Museu do Fado", the National Pantheon, São Vicente de Fora church, Castle of São Jorge, the Lisbon Cathedral and several other places of historical interest. Guests will have acess to all the apartment facilities. Internet and Wi-FI will soon be available. Transfer from and to the airport is optional at an additional fee of 35€. A charge of 10€ will be added for each additional guest to a maximum of 2. Cribs or cots are available at request with no additional cost. Cleaning will be provided in the middle of the week for 1 week stays as well as sheets and towels change free of charge. We will be present at the guests arrival to welcome them, give explanations about the use of the apartment facilities and, if needed, offer suggestions on where to eat, what to visit and what to do in Lisbon. We will also be present at departure to say goodbye and make sure everything went well during your stay. We will also be available at any time of day or night to solve any problems that may arise during your stay. Hopefully all will go smoothly and you have a wonderful stay at our apartment :-)
Train, underground, buses and taxis are all just a few minutes away. The paintings on the walls of the apartment are originals that you can buy to take home if you like them. Don't worry, you don't need to take the frame with you :-).
