Its been a true labour of love and finally here it is , including playing page maker with facebook! And next to work on those photos too!
OUR HOUSE
Here you can truely live like a local in the centre of Monchique town, a step away from the village with amazing views facing magic Picota mountain. Our spacious 1st floor apartment is set in a traditional townhouse, large windows light this home with wooden floors throughout, it holds a seemingly grand aurain this little village.
A spacious double bedroom leads on to a small dressing room, office space or even cosy room to sleep a child, a central modernized bathroom, large living room and the best views from the sunny south facing kitchen and dining area which leads out to a private terrace overlooking the town square.
This Apartment is on the first floor set in a traditional Portuguese townhouse, the private entrance leads up a flight of stairs to a light hallway leading on one side to the large living room and bedroom.
We love living in Monchique and are excited to be able to share that experience with you at our extra home in town which allows you to be as private as you wish whilst having the chance to experience this typical Portuguese village.
SURROUNDINGS.
Set within a few minutes walk of local walking trails and untouched nature allows this to be a perfect base to discover by foot or by car. It is ideal for learning what makes this green mountain so special to us and so many who visit. There are many routes to take one of our favorites is a drive to the West coast where there are too many beaches and walks to see in a lifetime. There are many centres to practice yoga, wellbeing or even visit a SPA.The Monchique water is renowned to be one of the best in Portugal flowing from natural springs.
ABOUT US
We chose to move to Monchique 10 years ago moving from the busy touristic South Coast. We felt it a perfect place to continue raising our family and intergrate our ceramic sculpture studio and garden into the Portuguese mountain village allowing our visitors a taste of our paradise.
Each year that passes we feel more sure of our choice with our beautiful surroundings becoming more popular to visits.
