This is the old entrance to the Portuguese path, which has now been diverted to another location. From here it is possible to see the cathedral from afar, knowing that we are arriving.
It is a route that is poorly signposted, although the owner of a cafe in Milladoiro has recently painted some arrows.

The renasce program is not just about any adventure. Reborn implies both physical and mental preparation and a will to be born again, to renew everything we took for granted. To embark on this journey is to realize that like any other birth, it hurts when we breathe for the first time. It’s knowing that giving up is always the easiest way, but at that very moment you must remember that you are much more. Not only for you but also because you don’t walk alone. Like any other paths that you follow as a leader, you are never alone, you have your team walking with you.

A magical chapel in a magical village. The Cebreiro.

It is here that Father Elias Valiña is buried, a great promoter of pilgrimages on the French Way and creator of the yellow arrows.

At the end of the mass, each pilgrim is given a Cebreiro stone with a yellow arrow.

The many symbols of the Camino, like the sacred path, can be old and new. This pilgrimage, reborn after many centuries of forgotten steps, can keep its memory intact over the years.

The yellow arrows, for example, are a one-man's work. Elías Valiña is the most important promoter of the Camino and has a religious and touristic journey. In the 1980s, almost singlehandedly, he traced back the old itinerary to avoid people getting lost while trying to reach Santiago de Compostela.

On the other hand, the scallop has been part of Camino history since the beginning, serving as proof of pilgrimage. Today is a recognizable symbol everywhere in the world.
