Located on top of a small hill and surrounded by a sea of vineyards, the farm welcomes its visitors with stunning views and the tranquility and charm of a place that breathes tradition. This is were you will be improving your classical riding skills, at the hands of a young but very experienced instructor. Marie Morgane has been in Portugal for over a decade now, after simply falling in love with
the beauty of the Lusitano horse and the exquisite way of the Portuguese Classical Riding style. Marie's learning process is a Who's Who guide in Portuguese Classical Riding. Born in Brittany (France), she was an understudy of Dany Lahaye, breader of Lusitanos in France and pupil of Master Nuno Oliveira. It was while under her wing that she found out about Portugal and decided to relocate. Upon her arrival, she joined Coudelaria Lobo de Vasconcellos, in Evora, before joining the team at Morgado Lusitano. Working under Rodrigo Matos and Paulo Sérgio Perdigão, both proeminent riders from the Portuguese Riding School, she developed her style and technique, before making her dream come true, working as rider and instructor with Portuguese Master Luis Valença. At Quinta Margem d'Arada she is now able to share what she learned, what she felt and what she loves!
